The Wichita Mountains Climbers Coalition and Texas Mountaineers have scheduled a Fall clean-up at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge for December 1st and 2nd. Volunteers are needed for 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday morning to pick-up trash around the summit of Mt. Scott and along Quanah Creek below the Quanah Lake dam site. The project is also being sponsored by the American Alpine Club and the Access Fund.

Camping will be provided at Camp Doris for all volunteers on Friday and Saturday nights. The aft

ernoons will be open for enjoying some fabulous late-season climbing.

Please show your support for our efforts to protect the climbing and natural resources at the Refuge by volunteering your time for this important conservation project.

To volunteer, please send an email with your name, address, phone number and which days you are available to work and which nights you will need a campsite to: [email protected].org

Check the WMCC Forum for more discussion, etc.
