Chris Clarke, a long-time DC climber currently living in Bolivia will present…
“Through the Looking Glass: a Year of Rock and Ice Climbing in Bolivia.”
Chris will cover a new ice route on Serkhe Khollu in the Hampaturi Group of the Cordillera Real, a new variation to the Direct Route on Piramide Blanca in the Condoriri Group of the Cordillera Real, the second ascent of a mixed route on Charquini, some ski mountaineering, some new granite rock climbs near Huyana Potosi and in the Quimsa Cruz as well as a few shots of the climbing around La Paz. He will also try to convey some of the insanity that is Bolivia…..
As we have to vacate the library by 8.30 this will start promptly. Check it out on the map.
Nearest metro is Cleveland Park, several blocks away. After the meeting, we will head to the Four Fields or another pub nearby for a drink/meal.
