Spring Cling 2012
SPRING CLING 2012
The Southwest Section of the AAC had a great gathering in Joshua Tree on March 12 at the Spring Cling. Members gathered along side volunteers from the Thresh Hold Climbing Gym’s Youth Team to help the National Park Service with a stewardship project. After meeting for climber’s coffee in Hidden Valley campground, we delineated a new roadside trail and planted nearly 200 desert plants. Later in the evening we met in town for a slideshow by famous climbing photographer Damon Corso. The evening event was hosted by local climbing organization Friends of Joshua Tree. On Sunday we all got some climbing in and it was great trip!
