A great time was had by all at the Joshua Tree fundraiser, aka GordonFest 2012 on Saturday April 21. The fundraiser was held to support local climbing guru and unofficial mayor of J-Tree Todd Gordon. The turn-out was strong with stonemasters of lore in attendance and bountiful donations from every climbing company known to man. We at the American Alpine Club did our part, bringing two kegs of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and slinging beers for a suggested donation. After a massive and chaotic raffle and extensive silent auction, AAC member Tony Yeary gave a killer slideshow which was followed by jamming out and dancing to the band Warsaw. Money was raised, beers were downed, some dancing definitely happened and all had a great time!
