Hot food and beverages on site
Apres-climb awards party with door prizes
I participated in the Festival last year and had a great time! It is a fun and casual atmosphere with lots of great prizes. More women competitors are needed; there were only 4 women in the TR and 2 in the lead categories last year. I came away with a BD helmet and 2 BD ice screws for my second place finishes!
Lodging is limited. The Matterhorn, located 2 blocks from the Ice Park, currently has 6 rooms available (4 person limit, no pets). email@example.com; 970-944-2210; Terry
Alpine Moose is another option. firstname.lastname@example.org; 800-60-1221; Bruno
Backcountry Basecamp is booked for the Festival weekend but keep it in mind for future trips; really nice place with ice climber discounts.
