The dedicated volunteers met this weekend to complete the install of the new metal roof!  The roofing team of Zack and Andy led the charge by installing the cut pieces on the hut roof.   Harry Hunt and Architect Michael Thompson cut the metal roofing and directed the install. The weather cooperated for the weekend and  now the hut looks ready for the Alaskan winter!

Fall Colors surround the valley ~ the new hut, the original 'dome' hut and the new outhouse on the top of the moraine.

 

The 'termination dust' slowly creeps down the mountains. The metal roof is installed in the nick of time!
