The Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum and the AAC Library have created a YouTube channel where you can watch videos from museum exhibits, lectures from the museum’s sPEAKer series, and, in the future, film and video archives from the library collection. The channel already includes discussions about Mt. Everest with Tom Hornbein, Jake Norton, Glenn Porzak, and Tonya Riggs, and a presentation by astronaut John Grunsfeld, who carried Brad Washburn’s camera into space.

“We are starting to make all video elements in the museum accessible to online visitors as a first phase of the museum having a virtual space,” said Sarah Wood, operations manager. “We have also started filming all of our sPEAKer Series talks, so visitors who cannot physically come to the lecture can view an edited version online.
